They are all in Hong Kong and

I enjoyed each one on Friday, Aug. 19.

Hard to Plan MY LIFE!!

I arise in the morning 

torn between a desire to improve the world 

and a desire to enjoy the world. 

This makes it hard to plan the day.

In NEED of a PROJECT

With so much time in the house,

the heat and humidity are

UNBEARABLE in August in HK,

we needed a project. 

We chose to make BLANKETS.

Not only would the kids learn a

new skill but it would provide

warmth during the upcoming winter months.

We took a trip to Sham Shui Po 

to buy big safety pins,

(It's not like your notions section of JoAnn's is it?

More like looking at an I-Spy picture book)

fabric,

and batting.

With shopping done 

we had lunch at McDonalds.

with an interesting view on fashion.

Pui O Beach - Lantau Island

We had a LOVELY visit to Pui O this week.

We have a friend from Holland that lives there.

The sand crabs make PERFECT tiny holes

in the sand and leave these leaf-like tracks.

Wild cows, with BIG horns, roam freely

just off the beach.

We ate lunch at a Thai restaurant

located on the beach.

We found we really LIKE Thai food --

AND PUI O!
