Savannah Road Trip

Haleigh had 10 more hours -
4 of those night hours -
to complete the driving requirement
to get her driver's license.
Instead of driving in circles around our local
area we chose to take a ROAD TRIP
to one of her favorite places -
SAVANNAH, GEORGIA.
She was an AWESOME driver
and we ENJOYED the ride.
This was the case of the JOURNEY
being more important than the DESTINATION.

--BEAUTIFUL Savannah--
We only spent 45 minutes here
BUT it was a VERY LOVELY visit!

Six Flags Over Georgia

Ammon earned his own ticket to
Six Flags through a reading program
at school.  So his best friend Jack
and I accompanied him for a day of FUN.

--First ride--

 --Favorite Ride--
Superman
It was a FUN FILLED day!

My Front Porch

While living in Hong Kong I missed
SO MANY things.  One of the things
I missed most was my CUTE house
with the double front porch.
I have put some time and attention into
it since I have been home and
I love it even more.

I love that the kids hang out here.
They left their homemade battle ax here.
 Hanging the porch swing.
You can't be Southern and not have
a porch swing.
A FUN view of the battle ax, the ladder
and my favorite chair.
Since the house was so quiet without us here
the birds invaded.  Every column of both
levels of the porch have a nest.
Ammon is LOVING being home -
hangin' out with his best friend Jack.

--On the back deck--
 The hibiscus is blooming BEAUTIFULLY
and I still LOVE my cute glider.

There is nothing like a front porch in Georgia.
Now to get Fred home to enjoy it with me.
