Before we headed to Osaka
we grabbed some lunch at the market
in the busiest train station in the world.
We ate yakitori and rice.
For dessert I enjoyed this CUTE little cake
filled with pudding and anko (sweet red beans).
Each cake was hand-stamped with kanji
that reads TOKYO.
We rode the bullet train to Osaka.
Tokyo is the end and the beginning of
the train line. The trains undergo a
15 minute cleaning at this point.
These ladies dressed in pink stand waiting,
with cleaning supplies in hand,
for the train to arrive.
Here it comes.
The train - on the inside.
The view from the train - at 170 miles per hour!
Isn't it BEAUTIFUL?!
