My morning walk

My friend, Ai, who is from Japan,

invited me to go with her on a walk this morning.

We began on a paved round and walked to 

the "Rock Pool".

This is where Discovery Bay Branch
performs their baptisms.

It is a BEAUTIFUL spot.

From there the road turned into a trail

as we began to climb the mountain.

The trail turned into steps -

carved from the rock in the mountain.

It was a long a steep climb 

(and I will be sore tomorrow).

But the view was well worth it!

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth; .......... Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -- I took the one less traveled by, And (I hope) that has made all the difference.                                   --Robert Frost                       --(Me)
