Instead of Cebu, Philippines

Friday afternoon we headed to the airport

to catch our flight to Cebu, Philippines.

To make a long story short -

we didn't make the flight.

I forgot the passports.

We tried to make the best of things

by celebrating at home.

We had Paisano's pizza for dinner

and German pancakes for breakfast.

We played scrabble on the i-pad

and watched the youth celebration

for the Cebu Temple on You Tube.

We spent the afternoon at the Rock Pools

ate at McDonald's

and enjoyed the pets at the plaza.

On Sunday night we took a ride to the

entrance of Disneyland to watch the fireworks.

Maybe someday we will make it to Cebu.

I am GRATEFUL we made the 

best of things we already have here.
