Built in 1420 for the Emperor to
worship Heaven.
It is one of the most famous temples
in the world!
I can imagine this is what Heaven is like.
People dance and sing like no one is watching
and as if there's no tomorrow.
I LOVED IT!
The Circular Mount Altar,
known as the Center of Heaven,
where the Emperor would pray.
The Imperial Vault of Heaven
encircled by the Echo Wall.
The Altar of Prayer for Good Harvest.
And so we come to the close of another BUSY
day of sightseeing.
